Imagine vibrant, tender water spinach (kangkung) stir-fried to perfection with a fiery and fragrant sambal. This dish explodes with a spicy kick, balanced by the subtle sweetness of the chilli paste and the fresh, slightly earthy notes of the greens. It's a quick, simple, yet incredibly flavorful stir-fry that's a staple in Malaysian cuisine.

Nasi Kampung, on the other hand, is a true taste of "village-style" cooking. This fried rice dish typically features fluffy rice stir-fried with a blend of anchovies (ikan bilis), leafy greens (like kangkung or sayur manis), chilli, garlic, and sometimes a fried egg on top. It's a savoury, slightly salty, and deeply satisfying dish that embodies comfort food with a Malaysian twist.
