Overseas travel deals

Now let’s move on to overseas travel. We’ve noticed that there are many booths providing more information on Muslim-friendly travel guides this year, including accommodation, attractions, and Halal restaurants. You can also find out more about travelling to your favourite destinations straight from the experts at Korea Tourism Organization, Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), and Taiwan Tourism Bureau.

At Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), you can research and start planning your travels in Japan. They’ve got lots of brochures on places like Kobe, Hiroshima, Okinawa, Kyoto, and more! Once you complete a survey, you can take home a free tumbler too!

Afterwards, head on over to Sendai/Tohoku’s booth in Hall 3 to learn more about Sendai, an underrated travel spot that’s known for beautiful winters. When you complete their survey and register for the Sendai/Tohoku membership program, you can take home a gift bag that comes with brochures and a Japanese masu box.

But if you want to go to Korea, there are booths dedicated to Jeju Island and Gangwon — the representatives on-site will recommend you the most famous attractions and guide you to completing a survey for a freebie! There’s also a VR skiing game you can indulge in if you’re up for the challenge! Better yet, you can wear a traditional Korean hanbok and pose with the travel organisation’s mascots!
