Visa-Free Travel Between Malaysia & China Extended for 5 Years

Malaysia's Home Minister, Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, announced today (April 22nd) a significant extension of the mutual visa exemption policy between Malaysia and China. The visa-free arrangement will be extended for five years.

The Minister revealed that the government has decided to extend the VISA-free policy for another five years, with the potential for a further five-year extension after the initial period.

Under this extended agreement, Chinese citizens entering Malaysia for tourism purposes will be granted a 90-day visa-free stay. Reciprocally, China will also offer Malaysian tourists the same 90-day visa-free entry.
