KLIA Aerotrain Back In Action: Faster, Smoother 3-Minute Rides!

Great news for travellers! The long-awaited Aerotrain at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1 has officially resumed operations.

Originally slated for a February relaunch, the KLIA Aerotrain officially resumed service on July 1, marking a significant step toward a more convenient airport experience for all.

On the day of its official recommencement, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and Transport Minister Anthony Loke were present, taking a ride on the train themselves to mark the occasion.

Beyond the Aerotrain's return, the airport's VIP lounges have also received upgrades, promising more comfortable environments and improved services for passengers. The Malaysian government has notably emphasised not just hardware upgrades, but also the crucial importance of airline service quality.

Transport Minister Anthony Loke specifically highlighted that passengers encountering flight delays or other issues can lodge complaints with the Malaysian Aviation Commission (MAVCOM) to safeguard their rights.
